1. Introduction and who we are

Fortis Games Unip Lda (“Doppio”) has as a company policy to respect your privacy regarding any personal information we may collect while using one of our Amazon Alexa Skills, Google Assistant Actions, Zoom Apps, this website, or the VoiceClub service (“VoiceClub”). Accordingly, Doppio has developed this privacy policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose and otherwise make use of personal information.

2. Information Doppio collects and what for

2.1 Skills for Amazon Alexa

2.1.1 Required:

Alexa User ID. This is collected automatically when you enable the Skill in your Amazon Alexa app. This is used to connect your Alexa account to your game profile, so you can resume your game later or play on multiple devices. It is also used to link your profile to your In-Skill Purchases.

Device information. We collect information about the capabilities of the devices that you use to interact with our Skills. This includes informations such as whether or not a device has a screen. We use this information to learn more about how players are interacting with our Skills, as well as to monitor the availability of all of our Skills’ functionality.

Information about your interactions with our Skills. We record information about the various things that you do when interacting with our skills. The interactions that we monitor include things such as adding or removing something from your in-game inventory, or purchasing an item from the in-game store. We use this information to learn more about how players are interacting with our Skills, as well as to monitor the availability of all of our Skills’ functionality.

2.1.2 Optional:

Email address. This is only collected if you choose to provide it to Doppio by subscribing to our community email newsletter within our games. It will be used to send you information about our games such as events, promotions, news or community milestones. Additionally, we'll send you optional surveys for you to help us understand your needs as a player, and how to improve your game experience.

2.2 Actions on Google Assistant

2.2.1 Required:

Profile ID. The first time that you interact with each of our Actions on the Google Assistant, we randomly generate an identifier unique to your account. This ID is saved in the “user storage” associated with your Google account for the Action, and is provided back to Doppio with each request you make during the course of normal gameplay. We use this ID to connect your Google account to your game profile, so you can resume your game later or play on multiple devices. It is also used to link your profile to any digital purchases you make in our Actions.

Device information. We collect information about the capabilities of the devices that you use to interact with our Actions. This includes informations such as whether or not a device has a screen. We use this information to learn more about how players are interacting with our Actions, as well as to monitor the availability of all of our Actions’ functionality.

Transcripts of what you say to our Actions. We record transcripts of the specific words that you say or type when interacting with our Actions. We use this information to identify and correct problems in our Actions’ voice interface, so that we may continually provide you with better services.

2.2.2 Optional:

Push notifications user ID. This is only collected if you choose to enable push notifications from inside our Actions. We will use it to send those push notifications that you requested to your devices.

Digital purchase order IDs. These are only collected if you choose to make a digital purchase from one of our Actions. We will use these to provide you with customer support if you have any issues with your purchase, and to service your requests for refunds.

2.3 this Website

2.3.1 Required:

IP address and URL. The IP address and URL of each request is logged to allow Doppio to monitor the availability of the website.

2.3.2 Optional:

Email address. This is only collected if you choose to provide it to Doppio by signing up for our email newsletter, and will be used to send you notifications about our products.

Contact, Careers, and Support Forms data. This is only collected if you choose to provide it to Doppio, and will be used to get back to you regarding relevant requests.

2.4 VoiceClub

2.4.1 Required:

IP address and URL. The IP address and URL of each request is logged to allow Doppio to monitor the availability of the service.

Email address, full name, and profile picture. These are collected from you when you create a VoiceClub account, and will be used to personalize your experience on the VoiceClub website, and in any game that you choose to connect to VoiceClub. Your email address may also be used to send you communications about the VoiceClub service or your VoiceClub account.

Information about your interactions with VoiceClub and connected games. We record information about the various things that you do when interacting with the VoiceClub service, or with any game that you choose to connect to VoiceClub. The interactions that we monitor include things such as adding or removing something from your in-game inventory, or purchasing an item from the in-game store. We use this information to learn more about how players are interacting with VoiceClub, as well as to monitor the availability of all VoiceClub functionality.

2.5 Zoom Apps

2.5.1 Required:

Zoom Profile Information. When you use one of our Zoom Apps, we collect a Zoom User ID and Access Tokens from Zoom to enable you to play our games from within Zoom. We may also collect the first name and profile picture from your Zoom account, which we use solely to identify you to other players during gameplay.

Device information. We collect information about the capabilities of the devices that you use to interact with our Zoom Apps. We use this information to learn more about how players are interacting with our Zoom Apps, as well as to monitor the availability of all of our Zoom Apps’ functionality.

IP address and URL. The IP address and URL of each request made to our Zoom Apps’ back-end services from your device is logged to allow Doppio to monitor the availability of the service.

Information about your interactions with our Zoom Apps. We record information about the various things that you do when interacting with our Zoom Apps. The interactions that we monitor include things such as adding or removing something from your in-game inventory, or purchasing an item from the in-game store. We use this information to learn more about how players are interacting with our Zoom Apps, as well as to monitor the availability of all of our Zoom Apps’ functionality.

2.5.2 Optional:

Live recordings and transcripts of what you say while playing in one of our Zoom Apps. We record and transcribe live audio of what you say at certain times when interacting with our Zoom Apps. When recording is active, it will always be clearly indicated to you in the game’s user interface. We use these recordings and transcripts primarily to facilitate voice-based gameplay in our Zoom Apps. We may also retain fully anonymized audio recordings for the purposes of improving the quality of our transcription services.

We will always explicitly prompt for permission to use your device’s microphone the first time that you interact with one of our Zoom Apps, and you may always decline this permission, or revoke it later from your web browser’s settings. In some of our Zoom Apps, however, if you decline to provide permission, you may be unable to fully use all game features.

3. Legal basis Doppio has for processing your personal data

By using Doppio's services, you are giving Doppio consent to process your personal data. If you would like to withdraw this consent at any time, please contact Doppio at privacy@doppiogames.com.

4. Sharing of personal data with third parties

Doppio employs several third-party data processors to assist us in providing you with our products and services.

For our Amazon Alexa Skills and Google Assistant Actions, these data processors include the following:

5. Data storage and processing location

Doppio stores your personal information in the United States of America. Doppio will strive to ensure that the data is always processed in accordance with this privacy policy and the local laws.

For residents of the European Economic Area: all of Doppio's data providers are EU-US Privacy Shield compliant, and therefore guarantee that customers' data have the same high levels of security, privacy and data protection that it would receive in the EU.

6. How Doppio secures your personal data

Although no method of data transmission and storage is 100% secure, we do employ several technical and procedural measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized use or disclosure.

To further help safeguard your information, you should take care to protect your account passwords and devices by, amongst other things, choosing secure and robust passwords; signing out from any shared devices when you're done using them; and keeping your login credentials private. We aren't responsible for unauthorized activity on your account due to lost, stolen, or compromised passwords or devices.

7. How long Doppio keeps you personal data for

7.1 Alexa Skills

Alexa User ID. Following Amazon In-Skill Purchase requirements, we keep this information indefinitely, even if you disable the skill in your Amazon Alexa app, so that we can restore your purchases if you re-enable the skill.

Device information. This information is stored for one year and then purged.

Information about your interactions with our Skills. This information is stored for one year and then purged.

Email address. We store this until you unsubscribe from our mailing lists.

7.2 Actions on Google Assistant

Profile ID. This is retained in our system for up to one year from the date you last interacted with each Action. You may clear it from your user storage at any time from inside the Google Assistant settings, which will effectively break the association between your game profile and your Google account, and render your game profile inaccessible.

Device information. This information is stored for one year and then purged.

Information about your interactions with our Actions. This information is stored for one year and then purged.

Transcripts of what you say to our Actions. Transcript data is retained for one year and then purged.

Push notifications user ID. This is retained in our system for up to one year from the date you last interacted with each Action. You can also invalidate this ID by tapping “turn off” on any notification received from our Action, or by asking the Google Assistant to “stop sending updates” from the name of the Action (so, e.g. from The Vortex, you would ask “Hey Google, stop sending updates from The Vortex by Doppio”).

Digital purchase order IDs. These are retained indefinitely so that we can service any customer support requests.

7.3 this Website

IP address and URL. Logs are retained for one month and then purged.

Email address. We store this until you unsubscribe from our mailing lists.

Contact, Careers and Support Form data. This is retained for one year and then purged.

7.4 VoiceClub

IP address and URL. Logs are retained for one month and then purged.

Email address, full name, and profile picture. These are retained while you have an account with VoiceClub, and purged once you notify us that you wish to close your account.

Information about your interactions with VoiceClub and connected games. This information is stored for one year and then purged.

7.5 Zoom Apps

Zoom Profile Information. Your Zoom User ID, Access Tokens, name and profile picture are retained until you deauthorize the Zoom App from your Zoom account.

Device information. This information is stored for one year and then purged.

IP address and URL. Logs are retained for one month and then purged.

Information about your interactions with our Zoom Apps. This information is stored for one year and then purged.

Live recordings and transcripts of what you say while playing in one of our Zoom Apps. Transcripts are stored for one year and then purged. Fully anonymized audio recordings may be retained indefinitely.

8. How can I access or update my personal data?

Please contact us at privacy@doppiogames.com. Doppio will reply to all requests received within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Use of automated decision-making and profiling

Doppio doesn't use your personal data for these purposes.

10. Use of Cookies/Tracking Technology

10.1 Alexa Skills and Actions on Google Assistant

Doppio doesn't use cookies or any tracking technologies in any of our Alexa skills or Google Assistant actions.

10.2 VoiceClub

The VoiceClub service uses cookies to know when you’re logged in to the service. We don’t use any cookies to track you out outside of the VoiceClub website itself.

Additionally, when you choose to connect a game to VoiceClub, your actions in each game may be associated with your VoiceClub account, in order to save your game progress and provide personalized content in each game and on the VoiceClub website. You can break this association at any time by disconnecting your VoiceClub account from within your Amazon or Google account settings.

10.3 Zoom Apps

Our Zoom Apps use cookies to know when you’re logged in to each App. We don’t use any cookies to track you out outside of the Zoom Apps themselves.

This website uses cookies and similar technologies, which are small files or pieces of text that download to a device when a visitor accesses a website or app. For information about viewing the cookies dropped on your device, visit this URL.
