Dear Zoomers,

Thank you for all the moments, the weird and funny descriptions, the inside jokes, the English lessons, and the coffee breaks. We love the joy and engagement Just Say the Word! brought to your Zoom video calls, and it’s been a lovely journey to share with you.

We built the game with the firm belief that the power of voice was underused and underrated in video calls as a way to entertain, and we’ve watched you grasp the concept from day one and hit the ground running with satisfying results.

However, as we all progress through their remote meeting experience, we’ve discovered new ways to get people engaged and lively, which the team will be prioritizing from now on. Therefore, we’ve decided to close down Just Say the Word! on February 10, 2023.

We’re building new and interesting things that we hope will excite you just as much, so watch out for new things at Fortis Games.

Thank you to everyone who participated in every chapter of the game’s development, the playtests, and everyone on the Just Say the Word! Team.

And thank you, the player, for Just Saying the Word. It means a lot to us all.

⚠️ UPDATE, Feb. 14, 2023: As previously announced, Just Say The Word! has now been discontinued. New players are no longer able to install the game. Existing players will continue to have access until March 14, 2023, after which the game will no longer be available.
